Export Chrome Bookmarks
- 1Open a Chrome browser window.
- 2Click the wrench icon at the top-right corner of the window and select "Bookmark manager."
- 3Click the "Organize" button at the top-left corner of the resulting tab and select "Export bookmarks."
- 4Give the bookmarks file a name, select the folder where you want the file saved and then click "Save."
- 5Transfer your bookmarks from your current PC to the new computer. You can send them over the Internet using email or instant messaging, or physically transfer them by way of a CD, DVD, USB drive or floppy disk.
Import Chrome Bookmarks
- 6Place the bookmarks file created by your previous computer on the desktop of your new PC.
- 7Open a Chrome browser window.
- 8Click the wrench icon at the top-right corner of the window and select "Bookmark manager."
- 9Click the "Organize" button at the top-left corner of the resulting tab and select "Import bookmarks."
- 10Navigate to the desktop within the dialog box that follows and then double-click the icon of the bookmarks file. The saved links you exported from your old PC are imported into the new installation of Chrome immediately.

Instructions
Firefox
- 1Open Firefox and click on "Bookmarks" in the menu bar. Select "Organize Bookmarks."
- 2Click on "Import and Backup." Select "Backup."
- 3Navigate to the directory where you'd like to save the backed-up file. Firefox selects the desktop by default.
- 4Enter a name for the saved file such as "Bookmarks," or keep the default name.
- 5Click "Save."
- 6Copy the bookmarks backup to removable media (USB drive, external hard drive, CD/DVD).
- 7Insert the media into the second computer.
- 8Open Firefox on the second computer.
- 9Click on "Bookmarks" and select "Organize Bookmarks."
- 10Click on "Import and Backup." Select "Restore" and choose "Choose file."
- 11Navigate to the backedup bookmarks file and select it. Click "Open."
- 12Click "OK" to replace your current bookmarks.
Internet Explorer
- 13Open Internet Explorer and click on "File" in the menu bar. Select "Import and Export."
- 14Choose "Export to a file" and select "Next."
- 15Click on "Favorites" and choose "Next."
- 16Click "Browse" to navigate to the directory where you wish to save the backup. Enter a name for the file, then click on "Save."
- 17Click "Export" and select "Finish."
- 18Copy the bookmarks backup to removable media (USB drive, external hard drive, CD/DVD).
- 19Insert the media into the second computer.
- 20Open Internet Explorer on the second computer, click on "File" and choose "Import and Export."
- 21Choose "Import from a file," then click "Next."
- 22Tick "Favorites." Click "Next."
- 23Browse to the directory that contains your backed-up favorites or bookmarks. Select the file, click "Open" and choose "Next."
- 24Select the "Favorites" folder. Click "Import."
- 25Click "Finish."

Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Export HTML... - to a USB stick
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Export HTML... - to a USB stick
then on the new PC:
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... - from file on that USB stick
