The Independence Day of India festival is to be celebrated on 15th August 2011 by the people in all states of India. Starting from 15th August 1947 Indians are celebrating the Independence Day which is celebrated on account of the Independence from British rule in the 1947 and that day is announced as the national holiday in India by the Government of India.
Jawaharlal Nehru is the First Prime Minister of India. Nehru read out the famous speech about national integration and Indian independence. Every year August 15 India celebrate its Independence Day with flag hoisting ceremonies and many cultural programmes in different part of the country. Indian Prime Minister speech at the Red Fort in Delhi on 15th August. Patriotic songs and dance by school children presenting in indepence day celebrations.
On 15th August 2011, Monday Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will hoists the flag of India at Red Fort Delhi followed by the Independence Day speech by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to the nation.Special programs will be conducted after the speech of Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of every States in India will be hoisting the Indian Flag at the city of State Capital and all the programs will be telecast live on Doordarshan and other TV News Channels.
On the Independence Day people will wear the Indian Flag pin on their clothes to show their love of nation.
